MDS believes in promoting diversity and celebrating the rich and varied cultures and people that constitute the American community. MDS provides a curriculum that is developmental, multi-cultural, anti-bias, educational, innovative and fun.
The Board of Directors consists of people both inside and outside the organization that actively care about children. A minimum of 51% of the Directors must be from outside the organization or management. Each director shall hold office for one year and until a successor has been appointed and qualified. Each director is eligible for continued reappointment.
Marin Day Schools is a community of children, parents, teachers, administrators and directors, who believe that children are important in our society and deserve the very best start in life. Marin Day Schools are state licensed programs and provide the highest quality early childhood education and childcare. Research has proven the importance of early childhood education, as birth to thirteen years is a vitally significant time in the life of a child. The MDS, EDS and MPS campuses are happy places where children are respected and valued for who they are today, as children, and for who they will one day become, as responsible citizens of the world. The MDS faculty, together with parents as partners, is here to help children get ready for the challenges and rewards of the future.
